Every year, the FGFL organizes workshops that bring together all member groups to learn new dances — both on the ground and on stilts.
To prepare for these sessions, the FGFL holds instructor workshops. The goal is to gather “trainers” from each group so they can learn the dances first, and then teach them to the other stilt dancers and ground dancers within their group.
The dances are chosen from the repertoire of each group, allowing dancers to expand their skills and knowledge.
This also helps them support other groups during performances when extra dancers are needed.
